Did you know about the awesome student organizations in the iSchool? Do you want to know more about what is available in the iSchool but don’t know where to start? We’ve got some great news! The iSchool involvement fair is happening!
When and Where?
On Thursday, September 13 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Located in the Hinds Hall lobby on the first floor. You can’t miss it!
Who Will Be There?
Many of the iSchool Student Organizations that originated in the iSchool or are specifically for iSchool majors will host a table at the involvement fair.
You can learn more about them, what they do, and how to become a part of their community. Some of the featured organizations will be BLISTS, Nexis, Information Security Club, and Kappa Theta Pi, the technology co-ed fraternity. Also be on the look out for the InfoSpace table as well (Hint: We’re hiring contributors for Fall 2018)!
How do I Prepare?
Mark your calendars, bring a positive attitude, and get ready to meet some amazing people! If you want to find out what student orgs we have prior to the event, check out their pages on the iSchool w=ebsite. If you can’t make it to the involvement fair, but are interested in joining some iSchool orgs, you can find contact info on any of the student orgs available!
