The site, operated by the National Park Service, boasts a reconstruction of the original Revolution-era fort and an extensive archaeological collection. I will be working with museum technicians to document, research, and catalog this historic collection. I’ll also help prepare materials for an upcoming exhibit.

My name is Shanyah Saunders. I am a rising Junior from East Orange, New Jersey, studying Information Management and Technology in the iSchool. I recently participated in an iSchool trip/class called EntreTech NYC where I and 15 other students had to opportunity to visit 20 different startups and large companies in New York City. I recently decided that I want to pursue front-end web development/web design. In the fall, I look forward to being an iSchool Peer Advisor. This summer, I am excited to intern at Ernst and Young’s LAUNCH Program in NYC. In my free time, I love photography and traveling.

I will be interning at Ernst and Young’s LAUNCH Program in New York City. My internship program has an emphasis on gaining professional work experience in the Ernst and Young culture. Overall, the internship is tailored especially for accounting, technology or business related majors from underrepresented groups who are two or more years from graduation. The ultimate goal is to gain experience and learn more about what a career in my field is like in a large company before graduating.
