Road Trips provide an introduction to how technology intersects with a particular business industry. Students travel by coach bus to nearby cities like New York City, Boston, Rochester, Buffalo, and Washington, D.C., and visit a range of companies to bridge their learning from the classroom to the real world.

Road Trips are open to all undergraduate iSchool majors.

The cost per trip varies from $20 to $200 based on the city. Price includes all transportation both into and around the city, overnight accommodations (if applicable), visits, meals, snacks, and events.

There are 50 spots available on each Road Trip, and registration is first come, first serve. You will be asked to fill out demographic information and you should have a copy of your resume ready to upload. There are 50 spots available. Payment is due upon registration and will reserve your spot on the Road Trip.

Each Road Trip includes:

  • Exclusive visits to 3-8 companies and iSchool employers
  • Awesome food and swag (as always)
  • Late night debriefs, pizza breaks, and a bit of time to explore the city on your own
  • A meet-up and event with alumni
