We welcome students from all backgrounds, which means you don’t need a degree or experience in tech to enroll! There are two easy steps to take advantage of your 30% tuition award:
Step 1: Apply for the program of your choice. Select your program from the list above to find application instructions.
Step 2: Demonstrate proof of residency. A New York State license, permit or non-driver id card, a recent bank statement, or a recent pay stub showing your current New York State address are just some of the acceptable proofs of residency. Contact our graduate admissions team if you have any questions.
To be eligible for consideration for the Upstate Scholarship, you must:
- Be a permanent resident of Upstate New York (with a mailing address in zip codes that begin with 12xxx, 13xxx, or 14xxx).
- Be a new iSchool graduate student who is beginning his or her studies in the spring or fall semester of 2023.
- Full-time and part-time students are eligible.
- Matriculate into an on-campus program, this award is not available for online programs.
