Robert Emborski has been an adjunct faculty member in Syracuse University’s School of Information Studies since 1999, teaching graduate and undergraduate for-credit courses in systems analysis and IT project management, both in the classroom and as distance courses. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Industrial Management from Clarkson University, and a M.S. in Information Management from Syracuse University. Emborski is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute. Emborski is a recently retired project manager for IT projects and a senior business analyst for the Cornell University Division of Financial Affairs. He has significant experience in developing and delivering enterprise level IT business applications in a wide variety of industrial settings, and has experience as a project manager for IT infrastructure projects for two global IT services contractors. He has also developed and delivered several Industrial Education courses in materials management and manufacturing planning and scheduling, as well as many software training programs. He is also an instructor in Cornell University’s eCornell professional development program, leading courses in team leadership and system / product design.
