In almost no time at all, Pebble Time has managed to source over ten and a half million dollars worth of crowdfunding money through their Kickstarter campaign that is currently running. As of last Friday, Pebble had more than 10x met their initial goal of $500,000.

Specs:

Pebble Time features a color, paper-like watch face that makes reading text and responding to messages easy on the eyes. Other features include a microphone for responding to messages, a rechargeable battery that lasts for about seven days, a water resistant body, and an extremely customizable from the watch bands to the display. Buttons on the side of the watch control the scrolling features, and allow you to see your calendar, alarms, and everything else by just clicking the up and down buttons.

The price could also be a major selling point. According to the Kickstarter page, Pebble Time will start around $179. When compared to options by Apple as well as Motorola, this watch comes in well below other price points by around $100 or more with the Moto 360 coming in at $249, and the Apple Watch with its lowest advertised price at around $350.

To make things even better, unlike a lot of other smart watch options, the Pebble Time works with iOS and iPhone 4 and up as well as Android 4.0+ on phones by Samsung, HTC, Sony, and others.
