Last April, in collaboration with The Syracuse Technology Garden and the iSchool, Enitiative tried a little experiment. We stuck a guy named John Liddy, the Entrepreneur in Residence at the Tech Garden, in the middle of the Quad wondering, “How many students could build a business from just an idea?”
The response was fantastic. John was pitched everything from “mobile medical vans” to “choose your own adventure [adult videos]” (redacted).
Well, we’re doing it again! And this time John’s got his own message about a class called “What’s the Big Idea” – essentially a semester-long, 3-credit, entrepreneurship bootcamp. You’ll love it. IST 427 or 627.
So check him out on Tuesday, September 7 from 12 noon until 2pm – in the middle of the Quad. Pitch an idea or just listen, I guarantee he’ll make you want to start a business.
