When students from the School of Information Studies (iSchool) print out their resumes and head to the iSchool’s iCareer Day event tomorrow, they’ll be going to the Schine Student Center’s Goldstein Auditorium for the fair, rather than packing the hallways and collaboratories of Hinds Hall.

With increased employer interest in iSchool graduates, and a growing student population, holding the Career Fair in the iSchool’s Hinds Hall home became challenging.

“We are thrilled to be hosting iCareer Day in the Goldstein Auditorium,” said Sarah Weber, the iSchool’s director of employer relations. “The Syracuse University Career Center, College of Engineering & Computer Science, Whitman School of Management, and the iSchool have collaborated to host our career fairs in one location for the first time, enabling us to better serve the students of each school, as well as the employers.”

Over twenty employers are scheduled to recruit at the iCareer Day event, including:

  • American Family Insurance
  • AXA
  • BNY Mellon
  • C.R. Fletcher Associates
  • Cognizant Tech.Solutions
  • Collaborative Solutions
  • Deloitte Consulting
  • Epic
  • Ernst & Young
  • Fidelity Investments
  • GEICO
  • General Electric

  • Inergex
  • JPMorgan Chase
  • MetLife
