Benson works as a Senior Information Security Analyst for Syracuse University with over 10 years of experience in the Information Security field. He has a wide range of experience in the higher education and IT consulting space. He has completed several defense-oriented SANS courses and has achieved the following GIAC security certifications – GCIH, GPEN, GCIA. He also has a Master’s degree in Telecom & Network Management and specialized in Information Security Management. He specializes in network security monitoring, vulnerability management, SOC operations and incident analysis. He is passionate about using his knowledge of cyber-attack techniques to help train students to become better defenders of enterprise networks.
