The best way to get help from the iSchool's Technology Services is to submit a help desk ticket. To submit a ticket, either send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or submit a ticket using the link below.

Technology Services created self-help resources to address frequently asked questions and added them to Answers.syr.edu, Syracuse University's ITS wiki. We encourage you to browse the iSchool's Answers before submitting a ticket.
iSchool students must have a laptop with Windows 10, MacOS or Linux. Chromebooks are not adequate. Several courses use Windows applications, which Mac users can run in our physical labs or, in some cases, via virtualization. Unless a student is technically capable, a Windows laptop is recommended, with a minimum of 8GB RAM (16GB if attempting virtualization using VMware, VirtualBox or Parallels), an HDMI adapter, and 25GB of storage reserved for iSchool courses.
Students may choose to purchase their computer through the University Bookstore or a retailer of their choosing.
