The New Explorations in Information Science (NEXIS) lab at the School of Information Studies (iSchool) and Syracuse University’s Blackstone LaunchPad are teaming up to host an information session covering the Wolfram computational knowledge platform.

Open to all students, the workshop will also include demonstrations of the popular Wolfram Alpha tool, and will also discuss the Wolfram Language, the programming language that powers Wolfram Alpha and that is used in top research and development organizations worldwide.

Participants will learn about three very different, yet equally powerful and complimentary development suites offered by Wolfram:

  • Mathematica
  • Wolfram Alpha
  • Wolfram Language

The workshop will be held on Thursday, November 3 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM in the ICE Box space on the second floor of Hinds Hall.
