The Global Enterprise Technology (GET) program will host  a conversation with Bill McDermott, co-CEO of SAP, and Guy Chiarello, CIO of JPMorgan Chase & Co., on “Technology and Leadership.” on Tuesday, April 2nd at 12pm in the Hergenhan Auditorium at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication.

Bill McDermott has been the co-CEO of SAP, a multinational enterprise software and software-related services company, since February 2010 along side Jim Hagemann Snabe. SAP is headquartered in Walldorf, Germany and has locations in more than 130 countries. Some of SAP’s products and offerings include enterprise resource planning software, analytics and business intelligence services, and mobile and cloud technologies. The company also offers various software products based on business functions, such as human resources or accounting.

As Chief Information Office for JPMorgan Chase & Co., Guy Chiarello has worldwide responsibility for Information Technology; helping to lead business strategy and technology innovation. JPMorgan Chase & Co. is a leading global financial services firm with assets of $2 trillion and operations in more than 60 countries. The firm is a leader in investment banking, financial services for consumers, smll business and commercial banking, financial transaction processing, asset managment, and private equity. It is one of the oldest financial services institutions in the United States. JPMorgan Chase is headquartered in New York City.

Global Enterprise Technology (GET) is an interdisciplinary suite of programs focused on preparing students for sucessful careers in global organizations that use large-scale information systems to drive their corporate strategy and development.

This unique program, developed through collaboration between Syracuse University and JP Morgan Chase & Co., complements a range of majors and is available to students throughtout all of SU's schools and colleges.
