The Syracuse iSchool is hosting Undergraduate Career Development Day from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. September 17 in Hinds Hall. Most of the events take place in 111 Hinds Hall.

The event is intended for all iSchool undergraduates and features a range of career-building opportunities, including one-on-one resume reviews with representatives from top employers and an employer panel. Students interested in receiving feedback on their own resumes must sign up for a 15-minute slot by Wednesday, Sept. 15 through OrangeLink.

Employees and recruiters from AXA-Equitable, Ernst & Young, General Electric, Goldman Sachs, Headstrong, JPMorgan Chase, and Microsoft will share their insights with students on the qualities they seek in prospective employees and how students can best represent themselves in the job-search process.

Students will also hear from SU Career Services and iSchool Employer Relations staff who will present on resume writing, preparing for interviews, employers’ recruiting cycles, and online networking and researching tools. For a complete schedule of activities, check out: https://ischool.syr.edu/career/events.aspx.
