Syracuse University classes starting at 2 p.m. or later today, Thursday, Feb. 25, are canceled, including University College classes and Drumlins Tennis co-curricular and physical education classes.

Non-essential University personnel may leave work beginning at 1:30 p.m., at the discretion of each individual’s supervisor. Bargaining unit employees assigned to schedules starting after 2 p.m. should plan on reporting to work unless specifically notified by their department/supervisor.

Essential services will remain operational. Dining centers and snack bars will remain on regular schedule. Health Services (443-9005) will be open until 5 p.m. for appointments and urgent care. The Counseling Center (443-4715) will close as of 1:30 p.m., but students needing support in a crisis should call the Center—staff members are available.

Syracuse Stage and SU Drama Department productions today are canceled. If you are planning to attend any other SU event today, check with the event provider to determine if the event will still proceed.

The E.S. Bird Library Learning Commons will remain open until 8 p.m.

Busses will be running according to the printed schedule today and tonight, and currently all busses are on schedule. Delays can be expected, however, in the event of severe weather.

Additional information on the University’s operating status will be communicated via the Inside SU website (http://insidesu.syr.edu), e-mail, and 315-443-1870.
