Last week I worked with incoming iSchool grad student, Alyssa Henry to put together some activities for middle schoolers participating in the Bristol Myer’s Squibb Science Horizon’s Summer Camp.

Alyssa’s energy and creativity, combined with the excitement of middle schoolers to try anything, really lended to some interesting programming. You can check out our work at their very own Science Horizons blog and the iSchool news story for more information on the week. We especially love the posts of their YouTube videos and crazy faces activities, but it’s just really fun to read what the students are saying about their experiences up here on the Hill overall.

If there’s a middle schooler in your life, it’s a great time to get them thinking about future career possibilities and the Science Horizons camp exposes students to some awesome opportunities in the STEM disciplines. Hope to see some more great students next year.
