Special Libraries Association: Click University

Welcome SLA Members!

The School of Information Studies at Syracuse University is pleased to announce a collaborative effort with Click University, of the Special Libraries Association (SLA), to deliver high quality continuing education opportunities in the library and information science arena.  As an internationally renowned and nationally ranked  library and information science program (#3 by U.S. News & World Reports), you will find the School of Information Studies is a leader and brings forth a wide array of course offerings, as well as a unique perspective.

Our faculty is truly interdisciplinary--hailing from disciplines such as management, information technology, psychology, political science, economics and, of course, library and information science. The diverse research and interests of our faculty attract students who are equally as varied in experience and backgrounds.  The combination makes for lively interaction and discussion, and challenges both students and professors to expand their academic and intellectual horizons.

We welcome you to join us in the academic pursuit of excellence and encourage you to enroll in our courses. As a member of SLA, you will receive a 10 percent discount on tuition for graduate credit. And, access to courses is only a click away.

Note: This discount is designed to allow those already working in the field to continue their education at a reduced rate. Therefore, the discount only applies to professionals who already hold an MS in Library and Information Science.

The School of Information Studies at Syracuse University, a leader in online graduate education since 1993, has an extensive list of online courses from which to choose. Or, if you live near the Syracuse University campus, you may prefer to attend courses on campus.  Online courses are of the same academic rigor as on-campus courses. Members of the School of Information Studies faculty teach in both the online and on-campus formats.
