As the Director of the FBI’s Regional Computer Forensic Laboratory Program, Mark Pollitt worked with law enforcement agencies to build digital forensic laboratories throughout the US. Now, as an adjunct professor and a generous supporter of scholarship, Mark works to ensure that student veterans have access to a college education and the opportunity to pursue their dreams.

iSchool Impact Award

Jason Mills ’95, G’96, Myra Miller ’95, Lisa Lindsay ’93, and Anthony Percival ’95, G’97 founded the Black and Latinx Information Science and Technology Support (BLISTS) club at the iSchool in 1992 to create opportunities for minority students. Since its founding, BLISTS has continued to support countless iSchool students through mentoring, networking, and scholarship.

Through his transformative experiences at the iSchool, Brian Garber has learned firsthand the power of experiential learning. As an alumnus, he ensures that future students have the same experiences by hosting students at his workplace, Google, on our annual immersion trip to Silicon Valley.
