Christopher Croad has had many roles in Information Technology during his career. He’s been a technician, a system admin, and a network engineer, but he found his passion for Information Security in 1994, and has rarely looked back. He served as an Information Security Analyst, Engineer and Architect for 14 years as a contractor to the Department of Defense until he accepted a role at Syracuse University in 2008. He currently serves as SU’s Information Security Officer leading SU’s InfoSec program. When not on campus he can be found trying to play guitar, cooking for his friends and family, making stuff out of stuff, or riding his motorcycle.
