Sophie Estep ’20 is an involved sophomore at Syracuse University. She is a double major with the School of Information Studies (Information Management and Technology) and the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications (Public Relations), coupled with dual minors in Spanish Language and Musical Performance.
Sophie is honored to serve as a founding member and the Director of Professional Development for Kappa Theta Pi, SU’s co-ed professional fraternity for information technology. Sophie is also a member of the Syracuse University Marching Band and Sour Sitrus Society Pep Band, activities that keep her busy throughout semesters celebrating two things she loves - Syracuse University and music!
She is involved in First Year Players (FYP), a theater organization that produces and substantiates a freshman-only musical each spring. Besides music-based organizations, Sophie is a peer advisor for the Renée Crown University Honors Program. She is also a journalist for the iSchool News, an online repertoire of iSchool news and events, as well as the InfoSpace Blog, the official blog of the iSchool.
