Herbert Brinberg is a former chair of the iSchool Board of Advisors. He founded Parnassus Associates International in 1989 where his breadth of experience as both consultant to and CEO of several large U.S. and multinational publishing and information firms provides him with the vision and skill to guide companies along the path to greater growth. Brinberg has earned wide recognition as a leader in academia. He holds degrees from Cornell and Columbia, as well as a Ph.D. in Economics from New York University and an honorary Doctor of Science degree from Syracuse. Currently Brinberg is an Adjunct Professor of Management at Baruch College of the City University of New York, and writes and lectures widely on business strategy, economic development and organizational structure and policy.
