Gene Delsener is responsible for Compliance, Data Management, Performance and Fund Oversight Technology Solutions for Fidelity’s Asset Management Company. He is also the site leader for Fidelity’s North Carolina Asset Management IT global development center.
Mr. Delsener joined Fidelity Investments in 1995 as vice president, Fixed-Income Technology. Over his tenure, he has led IT development for Research, Trading, Portfolio Management and Quantitative Research for a variety of Asset Management business partners.. Mr. Delsener has over 30 years of industry experience in investment management and investment banking front and middle office applications.
Prior to joining Fidelity, Mr. Delsener spent 12 years with Salomon Brothers, Inc. in New York City. His roles at Salomon Brothers included Director of Research Technology and Publication Services; vice president of the CMO/Database Group; and technology strategist of Bond Portfolio Analysis. Mr. Delsener spent two years at Salomon’s London office as vice president and department manager of the Fixed-Income Technology group.
Mr. Delsener received his Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science degrees in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University in 1976 and 1978 and an MBA in Corporate Finance from Pace University in 1985.
