Bernice L. Rocque is the Owner of Three Houses Consulting LLC, located in Trumbull, Conn. The company specializes in project front-end loading and the human factors that influence business results.
In her eclectic 30-year career, Ms. Rocque has managed operations in multiple disciplines and introduced a variety of products, services, programs, and processes in organizations. After working in academic and public libraries, she joined Texaco in 1979 to create a state-of-the-art business library and link the company’s U.S. information centers. Additional highlights of her Texaco career included: serving on the small, elite Proxy War Team which defeated Carl Icahn’s attempt to takeover Texaco, establishing a training curriculum for support staff in all business units, and working closely with HR executives to accelerate the speed of improvement in HR products & services. While serving in Texaco’s IT project office, she coached project managers, sponsors, and teams, integrated learning and decision tools into the IT project life cycle, and assisted the IT exec/management team to regroup following four major reorganizations.
Ms. Rocque earned an MLS from Syracuse University and a BA from the University of Connecticut, and holds PMP certification of the Project Management Institute and facilitation certification (FAST Session Leader) by MG Rush Systems Inc. She has been an adjunct faculty member of Syracuse University’s iSchool since 2006. When not working, she’s gardening or writing about her family history.
