Sheila Clifford-Bova

Sheila’s career in higher education has focused on administrative and program coordination for a diverse student population here at Syracuse University.  Prior to joining the iSchool, she worked with the three grant programs at the Center for Graduate Preparation & Achievement (CGPA): the Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Program; the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation in the STEM Professions (LSAMP);  and the Collegiate Science & Technology Entry Program (CSTEP). She was responsible for all administrative aspects of the programs, and strives for a collaborative approach in her work.

Sheila is the Manager of the Undergraduate Program at the iSchool.  As such, she works closely with the Undergraduate Program Director, the Dean of Academic Affairs, our students, our advising staff, and our faculty, to ensure that all goals and objectives are met.  She has an open door policy, so please feel free to go to Sheila with any ideas or concerns regarding our robust Undergraduate Program.

Sheila is excited about all that the iSchool has to offer, to its students, its related professions, and to the global information network!

Sheila is a single mother of three, and enjoys doing anything outdoors. Skiing, snowshoing, skating, sliding, snowmobiling, swimming and hiking are just some of the favorite activities, although reading, cooking, gardening and home improvement projects take up a lot of spare time, too!
