My expertise lies in digital content creation, social media management, and many things web-based, but my goals run deeper than creating and sharing on the Internet. I'm at my best when I'm collaborating with colleagues to create something useful, meaningful, and beautiful.
At the iSchool, my day-to-day is spent managing and editing the content on the iSchool website, as well as co-managing our social media accounts and content for the iSchool blog, Information Space (email me if you want to pitch a blog idea!). I also produce videos for our YouTube channel, as well as create print and graphic designs.
I've worked within institutions of higher education in a variety of roles: managing web content, producing videos, and managing institutional social media platforms. I've also worked with grassroots and non-profit organizations in New York City, advocating for safer streets for cyclists and pedestrians, and in Washington, D.C., researching sustainable buildings and green construction. My academic background spans the social sciences: I have a B.A. in Public Policy from Hamilton College, with an emphasis on environmental policy, and an M.S. in Information Management, with an interest in analytics-driven content management, design, and policy.
