Jon Fox received a B.S. degree from the United States Military Academy and a Ph.D. in Systems and Information Engineering from the University of Virginia. Jon was an active duty Army officer for over 20 years and served as platoon leader, company commander, and staff officer in a variety of military organizations. In his final assignment with the military, Jon served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Director, Mission Command Network Systems for a Department of Defense (DoD) organization in the Washington, DC area.
Now retired from the military, Jon is currently a data scientist in Bentonville, Arkansas focused on helping people save money so they can live better. His research interests include geographic information systems (GIS), Azure machine learning, enterprise architecture, and advanced analytics.
