Pack your bag. Update your resume. The iSchool is taking a Road Trip!
New York City is synonymous with fashion and retail. It is, after all, the city that kicks off the global calendar of Fashion Week. Most of the big-name retail offices operate out of the NYC market.
Whether it's large department stores, major distribution centers, or small SoHo boutiques: NYC is where retail happens. As traditional brick and mortar retail shifts to meet the changing ecommerce landscape, it’s tech that helps retail companies continue to be successful.
Brought back by popular demand—the iSchool presents the 2018 Retail Roadtrip. Join us!

Trip explaination letters
Official trip explanation letters can be provided for students to give to professors. We encourage all students to discuss their absence with professors upon acceptance to the Road Trip and to consult the academic plans on the syllabus laid out for each class.
Road Trip site visits are not finalized. Sites that may be visited include, but are not limited to: Macy*s & Bloomingdales, L’Oréal Distribution Center, Amazon and others. Just know – we’re working really hard to ensure that each visit will be awesome.
This trip has been underwritten by the Ivor Foundation and therefore accepted students will pay a heavily discounted amount of $125 to cover the entire cost of the trip. Full payment is due by October 10th. The trip cost covers all meals, roundtrip charter bus transportation, 2-night overnight accommodations, all visits and the alumni reception. Some additional spending money may be needed to cover snacks and other purchases throughout.
All students, regardless of financial need are invited to attend the Road Trip. Upon program acceptance, if the price of the trip proves to provide financial hardship, please contact Julie Walas at firstname.lastname@example.org for financial consulting and assistance.
