Kristen Shinohara is an assistant professor in the Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences at the Rochester Institute of Technology where she co-directs the Center for Accessibility and Inclusion Research (CAIR) Lab. Her work is at the intersection of human-computer interaction, accessibility and design, with a focus on including social consideration to improve technology design for people with disabilities.

Her talk title is “Incorporating Social Factors in Accessible Design."
