Lexah is a dual major between the iSchool and the Newhouse School of Public Communications. Follow her as she goes about her day from morning to night.

The most important meal of the day

For breakfast, Lexah likes to start her day with breakfast at at Ernie Davis Dining Hall. She normally gets scrambled eggs (with a side of cheddar cheese and ham) with a bagel or muffin. Afterwards, she gets ready for class and studies briefly with her friend Bobbi, a fellow major at the iSchool.

The typical routine

Lexah and Bobbi attend their class, IST 486 – Social Media in the Organization, at the iSchool. Lexah goes ahead to get some food at Schine and makes a pitstop at Bird Library. Afterwards, she heads towards the Newhouse School for her graphic design class. Her group even won some classwork activities for their drawings for extra credit!

Beyond the classroom

After her graphic design class ends, Lexah heads over to her sorority house Delta Gamma for a quick photoshoot for the sorority’s house portraits. But her involvement doesn’t end there: she has to go to practice for the club volleyball team.

Lexah has a busy life: she is an iSchool Peer Advisor, works at the Fund for Syracuse, and a Syracuse Football recruiting intern. She sometimes ends her day as late as 11 in the evening. While it might be late and tiring, as she says, “I don’t have a lot of free time, but that’s how I like it.”
