The Career Center at the School of Information Studies (iSchool) has planned several events for graduate and undergraduate students in preparation for the iSchool’s iCareer Day career fair in February.

On January 20, the Career Center will provide a workshop for graduate students in information management and telecommunications and network management to focus on creating effective resumes and cover letters. [More Information]

A session for undergraduate iSchool students on January 27 will provide tips on ways to maximize time at the career fair. It will cover everything from what to wear to how to decide what to say to recruiters. [More Information]

Seniors exploring other avenues besides the iCareer Day event can come to a session held on January 28 that explores effective techniques for finding that first job out of college. [More Information]

The iSchool Graduate Student Organization (iSGO) will be holding mock interview sessions on the afternoon of January 30. [More Information]

All of these events lead up to iCareer Day on February 5. The iSchool's undergraduate career fair will be held from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, and the IM/TNM Career Fair will be held from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. This year, the event will be held in a new location at the Goldstein Auditorium in the Schine Student Center.
