WIT to host Making a Career in IT: What skills do you really need?

Women in Technology (WIT) invites you to learn how to build a successful career in IT.  WIT is hosting Joanne VanAuken as she addresses, Making a Career in IT: What skills do you really need?  The presentation is slated for Wednesday, March 22 from 4:00-5:00 p.m. in the Katzer Collboratory, 347 Hinds Hall on the main campus of Syracuse University.  The event is free and open to the public.
By combining her technical expertise with communications skills Joanne VanAuken, a writer for Network Computing magazine, has leveraged a diverse background of IT experience and excellent communications skills to further her career.  Joanne has fifteen years of experience in project management, vendor product analysis, product testing including test script development, technical writing, systems analysis and design, business unit requirement analysis, process improvement and documentation, and training.
Come learn and explore the possibilities of a career in IT!  A reception will follow immediately after the presentation.
