Syracuse iSchool celebrates the Inauguration of the 44th President of the United States

More than 100 members of the iSchool community gathered in the iLounge and in the hallways of Hinds Hall to watch U.S. President Barack Obama and Syracuse University College of Law alumnus and Vice President Joe Biden G'68 be sworn into office.

The iSchool carried a live videostream of the ceremonies on the large flat-screen monitors in the iLounge and in the first-floor lobbies. SU students also watched the ceremonies at a large University-wide gathering in the Goldstein Auditorium of the Hildegarde and J. Myer Schine Student Center.

Vice President Joe Biden, a 1968 alumnus of the College of Law, invited Syracuse University Chancellor Nancy Cantor to be a special guest at the Inauguration, held in Washington, D.C., Tuesday morning.
