School of Information Studies ranks #1 in US News & World Report

School of Information Studies at Syracuse University ranks
#1 in US News & World Report

 
The 2007 US News & World Report Best Graduate Schools rankings have placed the School of Information Studies at Syracuse University in top positions for five of its programs.  In order of program rankings:   
 
#1 -Information Systems
#2 -Digital Librarianship
#3 -Library and Information Science
#4 -School Library Media and
#8 -Health Librarianship 
 
The School maintained its highly rated position as #3 in the Library and Information Science program and advanced six places to #4 in School Library Media specialization.  In the new category of Digital Librarianship, the School of Information, ranked #2 and made its way into a first time ranking in Health Librarianship as #8. 
 
The School of Information Studies joins fellow Syracuse University college, Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, with a #1 ranking by US News & World Report.
