All students and faculty are invited to what promises to be a lively discussion of the possible impact of being part of an entrepreneurial family on starting your own business or being entrepreneurial in someone else's business! Panelists:
* Philip Kaplan ('97, IST) created a famous website that predicted and documented the demise of the dot-coms.
* Samuel Kaplan (Philip's father) is a successful real estate developer who operates warehouse storage facilities in Brooklyn.
* Liz Liddy (Professor, IST alumna) Director of the Center for Natural Language Processing and Founder & former CEO of TextWise LLC.
* John Liddy (Liz's son) is a life-long entrepreneur with 5 start-up companies under his belt. He is currently practicing intra-preneurship at a large corporation.
