3rd Annual Multicultural Week at IST Begins!

Multicultural Week will focus on the critical importance of diversity, as well as provide strategies for how we can be actively engaged in creating a pluralistic community. Multicultural Week will be used as an opportunity where faculty, staff and students can highlight, celebrate, and affirm the presence of our diverse community. Multi cultural week will challenge faculty, students, and staff to raise their level of consciousness and take an active role in bettering the Syracusefamily.

Goal: To promote cultural awareness and diversity within the School of Information Studies; To challenge all in the community to create a family of one by taking an active role in fostering cultural diversity.

The Multicultural Week schedule is as follows:

Monday, April 18

5:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Opening Address: Dean Ray von Dran, Center for Science and Technology(CST) 4-201

All are welcome limited seating. Reception will follow in CST 1- 218.

Tuesday, April 19

Poster Unveiling, 4th Floor, CST

Wednesday, April 20

5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Keynote Speaker: Jason Mills, '96, '99 Vice President of Global Head of Risk of Citigroup, Inc. Asset Management Division in CST 4-201 All are welcome. Seating is limited. Reception to follow in CST1-218.

Thursday, April 21
