The Master of Science in Information Management for Executives at the Syracuse University School of Information Studies (iSchool) prepares students who have significant IT work experience with management responsibilities to respond to challenges confronting organizations today.
Like the iSchool, the M.S. in Information Management for Executives program is interdisciplinary. The program combines expertise in the strategic management of information resources, organizational psychology, human-computer interaction, information economics, information policy, e-business, information technology, as well as data management.
What you will learn
The M.S. in Information Management for Executives applicants must be strong candidates for leadership roles in the Information Management field as demonstrated by six or more years of relevant experience. Candidates must also demonstrate leadership growth through a recordof continuously increasing job responsibilities from technical to managerial.
This degree requires 30 graduate credits. All course are 3 graduate credits unless specified otherwise.

Online iSchool students have access to the same faculty and degree as our campus students - it’s just in a different delivery mode.
The online format of the program combines live weekly classes, multimedia coursework, and collaborative group learning exercises.
