Create transformative games and play for informal learning environments, such as libraries, museums, and other community-based learning spaces.  Use elements of games and play in real-world settings to help users find meaning through Meaningful Gamification.  Facilitate games and play for learning, training, engaging, and exploring real-world spaces.


Alternate Reality Game Toolkit for Libraries - This project is creating an online toolkit that libraries can use to create an alternate reality game as a way to expose visitors to a variety of library resources

Game Designers Guild.  - The Game Designers Guild brings together SU students and faculty with members of the community to explore the creation of games.  During each monthly meeting, there is a presentation about some aspect of game design, then attendees with prototypes or design challenges can find others to provide feedback and ideas.  More about the Game Designers Guild can be found at
