Entrepreneurship in Information Management

David Dischiave, Professor of Practice at Syracuse University’s School of Information Studies, has been awarded an Enitiative grant to fund an entrepreneurial graduate assistant.

The graduate student will incorporate entrepreneurship into many aspects of the iSchool. His or her responsibilities will encompass two main activities that support entrepreneurial thinking. The roles to be managed will involve collaborating with the Women in Information Technology's BOOST initiative and providing assistance to the IST 971 Information Management's Entrepreneurial Thinking competition.
Our faculty members share their passion for their research and teaching with our students inside and outside of the classroom, often recruiting students to work on projects in one of the iSchool’s prestigious research centers.
