The My Library portal interface can be a valuable resource for faculty and students to store and organize
links to web sites, databases, and e-journals.
The My Links section provides a place to store links to any web site you wish.
To add a link, click on the plus sign at the top of the box. You will see the following page:
In the "Name" box, type the text you want to appear in the link. In the "Location" box, type the URL
of the page you are linking. Click on the submit button, and the link will be added to your list.
To return to the main page, click on the link that says "Return to MyLibrary."
To add one of the library's databases to your list, click on the plus sign at the top of the "My Databases"
box.
On the next page, you will have the choice of selecting databases by choosing a subject area and browsing
through a list of ones in that topic, or by looking through an alphabetical list of all databases.
Put
a check in the box next to each database that interests you, then click on the submit button to add them
to your list.
If there are particular journals you want to read on a regular basis, you can add links to them from your
My Library page for convenience. To add a journal to your list, click on the plus sign at the top of the
"My E-journals" box.
Adding a journal to your list is similar to adding a database. You can browse through a list of journals
for a particular discipline, or you can browse an alphabetical list of all journals.
Put a check mark next to each journal you want in your list, then click on the "Submit" button.
