Naming Opportunities

Technology Endowment Campaign for Hinds Hall (TECHH)

What we teach, learn, and research in the School of Information Studies is in large part informed by the technology we use, the infrastructure that supports the use of this technology, and the ‘virtual’ collaboration that exists between the school and its world-wide partners. The Technology Endowment Campaign for Hinds Hall (TECHH) complements the building renovation by raising funds to guarantee that our leading programs will always be forward looking and have the cutting-edge technology and infrastructure they deserve.

The iSchool currently has several naming opportunities available in Hinds Hall. Six figure gifts and higher can also be counted toward the Raymond von Dran Memorial Fund.

Assistant Dean for Advancement Paul Brenner would be happy to discuss these as well as many other opportunities with you. Find out how you can support the iSchool at Syracuse. He can be reached at pbrenner@syr.edu or 315-443-6139.

Donors: Eric A. Marks '83 and Diane Dardeno

In fall 2007, Eric A. Marks, an adjunct faculty member and CEO of AgilePath consulting in Newburyport, Mass., joined the iSchool’s Board of Visitors and made a substantial gift to support, at Dean Elizabeth D. Liddy’s request, the Raymond F. von Dran Fund. The gift also names 323 Hinds Hall, home to the Center for Natural Language Processing, the research center founded by Liddy in 1999.
