Overview
Jeffrey Rubin is an Instructor at Syracuse University School of Information Studies. In addition, Jeffrey is President of Internet Consulting Services, a company he founded in 1995.
He has been integrating Internet solutions since the Internet exploded onto the scene six years ago and is passionate about teaching both in the classroom and in corporate boardroom. His company has worked on business strategies and commercial Internet applications for major firms and organizations including Lucent Technologies, Ericsson, Sony Music, National Geographic, and the IEEE.
Research Interests
Rubin's primary research interests lie in content/knowledge management systems, and web-based management tools (including log analysis). Rubin has developed numerous content management systems for a variety of industries including manufacturing, education, athletics, and government. Rubins secondary areas of research include analyzing user behavior on the Internet.
Professional Interests
My company, Internet Consulting Services and I have published hundreds of professional Web sites ranging from academia, manufacturing, and entertainment. I have been integrating Internet solutions since the Internet exploded onto the scene five years ago and am passionate about teaching both in the classroom and in the corporate boardroom. My company has worked on business strategies and commercial Internet applications for major firms and organizations including Lucent Technologies, Ericsson, Sony Music, National Geographic, Samsung, and the IEEE. In addition, I have published numerous articles on information technology and frequently speak at tradeshows/seminars across the U.S.
Personal Interests
I am addicted to sports and go to as many sporting events as I can. My favorites are the Syracuse Orange and the Boston Red Sox.
