Overview
Paul Stamas is currently Vice President of Information Technology at Mohawk Fine Papers; the largest premium paper manufacturer in North America. Previously he was Director of IT at Sprint PCS; Director of IT at Philips Medical Systems (formally Intermagnetics General); Global IT Manager at Albany International Corporation; Chief of Computer Integrated Manufacturing for the Department of Defense, U.S. Army, Watervliet Arsenal; and started his career as a Systems Engineer at General Motors – Hughes Electronics.
Paul received a BS in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo; a BA in Applied Statistics from the State University of New York at Buffalo; an Executive MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; a MS in Information Management from Syracuse University; and is pursuing a Professional Doctorate in Information Management from the School of Information Studies at Syracuse University.
Paul’s primary research interests are in the area of service-oriented computing and business-to-business (B2B) integration strategies in small-medium businesses (SMBs).
