Overview
Ozgur Yilmazel, Assistant Research Professor, School of Information Studies and Chief Software Engineer at the Center for Natural Language Processing (CNLP) (both of Syracuse University). Yilmazel received his Ph.D. from Syracuse University, Electrical Engineering. As the Chief Software Engineer at CNLP, he manages research projects to develop software that advances information access and human-like language understanding of computer systems for government and commercial clients. His research focuses on the uses of advanced natural language features for solving information access problems, such as information retrieval and text categorization.
