Blackboard is the School of Information Studies' learning management system. All online courses are taught using Blackboard. Each online course has its own space in Blackboard where instructors create and post content that enables students to communicate with one another and engage in course materials. iSchool students can view the course syllabus, read announcements from the instructor, view and submit course assignments, take quizzes or exams, participate in online discussion forms and check course grades.
There is a support wiki page on Answers that provides students with online learning best practices, trouble-shoot tips for Blackboard and information about browser computability, known issues, mobile apps and how to use assignments, test/quizzes, discussion boards and communication tools in a Blackboard course. It is recommended to bookmark the Answers page for future reference.
