Historically, the iSchool has tremendous success in its employment and internship placement rates, with our B.S. in Information Management and Technology graduates consistently having among the highest employment placement rates of any program on campus.

    • Survey of 2006 B.S. in IM&T graduates (74 percent response rate)

      • 27 percent attended graduate school

      • 70 percent employed in the field

      • 97 percent placement rate (employed or grad school)

      • Average salary was $51,273 (response rate was low to this question, only 20 percent)—the highest average salary reported in the University

The annual Fall Career Fair in the Dome enables students to network with prospective employers and often to land summer internships.

Often recruiters are Syracuse University alumni who share tips with current students on how to improve their success in finding that first job after college.
