- Chronological Resume: work experience and personal history arranged in reverse time sequence. This is the most widely used style of resume, and the most familiar to employers.
- Functional Resume: work experience and abilities cataloged by major areas of involvement, usually with dates.
- Targeted Resume: a highly future-focused presentation directed to a very specific job target.
