MS in Information Management ‘04

I completed my Bachelor of Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration in India. After working in the business intelligence industry in India for three years I enrolled at Syracuse University in the information management degree program and completed my masters in 2004.

My academic tenure at IST has been like a dream come true. I not only learned a whole new way of thinking about the information industry but I also developed a network of very close friends. The School of Information Studies information management program has helped me a long way in thinking out of the box. My favorite class was IST 775, Information Industry Strategies. It helped me think from a macro perspective which has helped me in my current job. I worked for Computing and Media Services as a student consultant during my two year program. This gave me a good understanding of Information Management issues on a day to day basis. I was also involved in the graduate student organization ISTGO as a graduate mentor.

I am currently associated with Stilog which is based out of France and I operate from the Bangalore, India Office. My responsibility is to garner business from India, Asia, Middle East and other regions. We have a wonderful product called Visual Planning which is cutting edge and can be used for different applications such as CRM, After Sales, HR Management, Logistics, Inventory Management, Production Management, Front Office Management etc.
