Vishal Singhvi

I recently completed my M.S. in Telecommunications and Network Management at the School of Information Studies. Prior to entering Syracuse University, I was educated in India, where I received a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration. I also worked for three years as a marketing executive and a business analyst in Hyderabad, India.

During my graduate studies, I worked as a computer consultant and served as a lab proctor for the School’s Information Technology Experiential Learning Lab (ITELL). I was also very involved in the graduate students organization and planned academic and social events. My favorite class was IST 653-Telecom and Network Management taught by Dave Molta. It stands out in terms of richness of the content, relevant assignments, demanding deadlines and absolute fun.

After having served several years as an Assistant Computer Consultant in Syracuse University’s College of Arts and Sciences, I recently took a position as IT Support Manager with Cognizant Technologies in Pune, India. .
