I was just two years old when my family gave me my first computer, a Commodore 64. By the time I was a senior in high school in Westchester, NY, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in information management and technology and I applied early decision to Syracuse University's School of Information Studies.

During my undergraduate program, I was a teaching assistant for a visual basic course and enjoyed many of the other classes that the iSchool offers. I had a fantastic internship experience with The Travelers Insurance Companies, Inc. during the summer before my senior year. Through this internship I was able to join committees, learn new technologies, meet upper management, get a first hand look at the corporate world, and meet other young professionals in my field.

In 2008, I graduated from the Travelers Information Technology Leadership Development Program in Hartford, CT. I am currently an Information Systems Manager focused on implementing 'green' IT and business solutions accross the enterprise.
