Forever 60 Celebration

The iSchool's beloved former dean, Ray von Dran, died one week before his 61th birthday in 2007. Join us for a Forever 60 Celebration, which will be catered by one of his favorite local eateries, Dinosaur Bar B Que, to support the fund that has been established in his name.

Enjoy great food and company, and rock out to the iSchool's very own iBand, the hippest group of deans and faculty on the Syracuse University campus! There will also be a silent auction of arts and crafts items created by members and friends of the iSchool.

The celebration is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. at the School of Information Studies in Hinds Hall on the Syracuse University Main Campus.

Your donation is tax deductible, and includes dinner, consisting of ribs and pulled pork, beans, coleslaw and cornbread, and dessert. A vegetarian option is also available. Guests may enjoy a cash bar.

The money raised will go to the Raymond F. von Dran Fund, for scholarships, research, and entrepreneurial and technological initiatives at the iSchool.
