Technology Endowment Campaign for Hinds Hall

In light of the University’s commitment to provide an attractive new home for the School of Information Studies in the fully renovated Hinds Hall, we have a natural development opportunity: a fundraising case that will both capitalize on and enhance the planned renovation. What we teach, learn, and research in the School of Information Studies is in large part informed by the technology we use, the infrastructure that supports the use of this technology, and the ‘virtual’ collaboration that exists between the school and its world-wide partners.

 

We are raising funds to complement the building renovation and guarantee that our leading programs will always be forward looking and have the cutting-edge technology and infrastructure they deserve. The TECHH initiative will insure the building is always properly equipped with the best technology. While the building will provide the infrastructure capability to change technologies, an endowment is required to provide the equipment needed to take advantage of those technologies and do so without dependence upon university appropriations.

 

For the purpose of donor recognition and fund stewardship, we offer naming opportunities throughout the building for areas where technology will be continuously supported by this fund.
